Life Membership

A program for an eligible individual who gives a lifelong commitment to membership in PVA and plans to be active in contributing to the ongoing and new programs of the organization.

Eligibility

Any person who is eligible for membership in PVA will be granted a Life Membership. Each individual shall be considered a regular member for the purposes of voting and all other membership rights.

Benefits

Life Membership entitles the individual to membership in the Paralyzed Veterans of America for the rest of his/her natural life. He/she would be entitled, without charge, to continual receipt of the Paraplegia News and other chapter publications. He/she shall receive a permanent membership card and be entitled to any of the other rights and privileges as set forth in the bylaws of the chapter he/she belongs to or as provided under the bylaws of the National organization.

Administration

Each chapter will be obligated to maintain accurate records of its own Life Members. Upon the assignment of a Life Membership, the chapter must notify the National Office immediately. Upon such notification, the National Office will set up a permanent record for such member and will issue a Life Membership card.
